Ink and Blood: A Writer’s Battle for Recognition

Years, many years ago when I picked up the pen and told myself I was going to embrace a whole new world of creativity, I never knew it was going to be this viscous a war, to fight. I started with lines and then I made rhymes and then the rhythm. Then, it looked like life was syncing into the melody I hoped for; but then, when pacing further, I discovered that more than what I could see existed in the world of creative writing, more than just thoughts in words, more than lines and rhymes, more than satisfaction of perfection, beyond all these: there seemed to be some sort of nemesis discouraging you, telling you that no one cares to read what you have to say, leaving you with zero views, zero comments and zero reactions on every one of the writings that at least you post, you try hard to climb up but then that monster keeps pulling you down, telling you that the world has nothing to gain from your usual boring writings, especially when you’re just a starter. No doubt, this piece will be victimized by my exact predicament; you see this article but are careless to read…why? because you check up my previous stats and it’s not in a thousand likes or thousand reviews and yes! because this is my first obscure publication on MEDIUM, it is useless and not worth reading…But this is no blame game, it is a charge to war! It is a call to awaken the inside of us! to tell ourselves that, first of all being one in a billion writers around the world is more than just an honour, but then you have to join the billions of idiosyncratic writers fighting that invisible war, but then; every man to his pen, for himself and then, for his fame!
